2026 was a vintage of two very distinct parts – very hot and very dry early first, followed by record breaking rain, humidity and disease pressure at the end. Luckily, we were able to harvest all the fruit for our sparkling, whites and roses prior to the rain. And while the conditions for the last part of ripening for the reds wasn’t ideal, the sandy Riverland soils provided excellent draining so splitting wasn’t an issue; while the wider apart, higher trellised vines maintained decent airflow meaning rot and mildew weren’t able to take hold. Out of this maelstrom, the wines are wonderfully expressive, true to the varieties and the vineyards, with fantastic structure and mouthfeel. We’re psyched to share them with the world!
