Hell 2024 Nero d'Avola

The Hell Wines are our chance to experiment and push the boundaries with our winemaking; to take the beautiful certified organic and biodynamic fruit from the Bassham vineyard in the Riverland and create truly unique, thought provoking wines.

The Hell release is all about texture. Influenced by eating, drinking and travelling through Southern Italy, this release encapsulates the energy of old world village wines, but with added layers of depth and character. Salty, chalky, savoury and moreish, whilst still remaining eminently gluggable.

Nero d’Avola: the ultimate Australian grape variety. Medium bodied, rustic and earthy, but with balanced acidity and the classic sour cherry pop – best pals with pepperoni pizza at twilight.
