A dry spring preceded and hot summer in The Riverland, which meant vintage was short, sharp and hectic! Whilst not without its challenges, the warm conditions meant that the hardy, heat tolerant Southern Italian varieties that we work with proved their worth, developing primary fruit depth whilst holding natural acidity well. After several years of cooler conditions, the 2025 wines are punchier than recent vintages, defined by bolder flavours without sacrificing thirst slaking drinkability.
